This thread is a motivational call to action for Nigerians to start small businesses in 2018, led by a user named 'kingzfarms' who shares personal success stories in agriculture and general trading. The discussion evolves into a debate where skeptics argue that the suggested low-capital entry points (e.g., N50,000) are unrealistic due to inflation and hidden costs, while the original poster insists on the feasibility of starting with minimal funds. The page contains specific business ideas like vegetable farming and snail farming, alongside a price list from a separate vendor and a detailed cost breakdown for a poultry business.

“Your story sounds good but if I sit down with you and pencil down what is needed to get all the businesses you have mentioned down, even N500,000 might struggle to start any of them. This is the reality.”
